Enabling and Troubleshooting BookNow for SolaGenius

The BookNow SolaGenius feature is a powerful online search and booking engine that allows clients to find and book your services directly from the Sola Salons website. This article will guide you on how to enable this feature, troubleshoot if you aren't appearing in the BookNow search, and how to improve your BookNow ranking. 

Enabling and Troubleshooting BookNow:

To enable the BookNow feature, follow the steps below. If you are not appearing in the BookNow search results, please check each of these steps. Once updated, please allow up to 24 hours for the changes to sync with the Sola Salon website integration.

1. Online Booking Must Be Enabled:
   Online booking must be turned ON to appear in the BookNow search results. To turn on or check your online booking settings: Tap into Features > Settings > Booking Controls & Notifications > Online Booking Settings > Allow Online Booking > Allow Online Booking for All Clients. 
   
   
2. Get Discovered in Sola Search Must Be Enabled:
   The Sola setting, Get Discovered in Sola Search must be turned ON  to appear in the BookNow search results. To turn on or check your website settings: Tap into Features > Settings > Website > toggle on Get Discovered in Sola Search.
   
   
3. Add Bookable Services:
   Services must be available with the specific Show on Website setting enabled. To learn how to add and edit services, click here. The BookNow integration also requires that service are named in a specific way. Please refer to this resource on how to properly name your services for the BookNow integration.
   
   
4. Add a Business Location:
   Set a business location by tapping into Features > Settings > Business Details > Business Location > Fixed Location > enter your address. A physical address must be entered in order to appear in the BookNow search results.
   
   
5. Add Business Hours:
   Ensure your availability is updated by entering your business hours! To do this, tap into Features > Settings > Business Details > Business Hours. Then, enter your schedule.

The BookNow search algorithm considers various factors when listing search results. The more complete and up-to-date your account information is, the better your ranking. Here are a few tips to improve your ranking:

• Add an 'About' Section to Your Website:

• Add Photos to Your Portfolio:
  Showcasing your talent and experience is crucial for attracting potential clients. Use the portfolio feature to grab attention and emphasize your creative strengths by tapping into Features > Settings > Website > Show Portfolio Gallery.
  
  
• Build Up Your Reviews:
  Reviews are a powerful way to attract new clients! We make it easy to receive reviews from your clients after their appointments. Learn more about collecting and sharing reviews.
